Outstanding Corn Farmers. The CropLife Philippines Inc., a plant science industry association recently recognized outstanding corn farmers during the Corn Day of the Farmers and Fisherfolk's Month at the Department of Agriculture. L-R are Mr. Simeon Cuyson and Mr. Rosalino B. Rondon, Executive Director and President of CropLife Phils., respectively; Mr. Francisco Piagola of Wao, Lanao del Sur; Mr. Peviano Soriano from Reina Mercedes, Isabela, Aggie Secretary Lorenzo; Mr. Carlos G. Guevarra from Mexico, Pampanga; Mr. Jay Narciso of Arayat, Pampanga; and Mr. Jesus Gavino, from Lubao, Pampanga and Dr. Artemio Salazar, Director of DA GMA Corn Program. Not in picture is outstanding farmer Mr. Carmelito Dinopol of Brgy. Topland, Koronadal, South Cotabato.
